Caryn’s career journey has been a testament to adaptability and seizing unexpected opportunities. Initially setting her sights on a career in broadcast journalism, Caryn earned her BA in English and Communications from Clemson University. Through internships at her local NBC affiliate and CNN, she demonstrated her talent, earning a prestigious News and Documentary Emmy award for her work as a production assistant. While awaiting her dream job in journalism, she found herself working in technical support at a satellite television company. Drawing upon her strong communication skills, she seamlessly transitioned into corporate software training, excelling in simplifying complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Yet again, Caryn’s journey took an unexpected turn as she explored opportunities in advertising sales joining the same sales force she had trained. But the most significant shift came with motherhood, prompting her to prioritize her family and temporarily step away from the corporate world. It was during this hiatus that Caryn’s deep involvement in her children’s education led her to an unforeseen role as the technology teacher at their Montessori school, eventually rising to the position of Director of Technology. The challenges posed by the COVID-19 quarantine period became a catalyst for Caryn’s personal growth. Delving into learning about ADHD and coaching, she found a newfound passion that, combined with her diverse experiences, laid the foundation for her transition into coaching and entrepreneurship. Despite the unexpected twists along her career path, Caryn has found her true calling as a coach and business owner. Her varied experience has equipped her with a unique perspective and skill set, enabling her to thrive in her current role.
