ABOUT ME

I received my M.A. in Communication from the University of Central Florida (UCF) and conducted my thesis research on discovering the unique motivations that digital music streaming service users adopt while listening to Spotify, Pandora, or Amazon Music. As an instructor at the University of Central Florida’s Nicholson School of Communication, I have also had the opportunity to teach a variety of courses related to the social sciences including Fundamentals of Presentation, Writing for the Electronic Media, and even Persuasion and Communication. I was awarded both the Buhr Graduate Fellowship in Research and the Derek Sutton Endowed Awards by UCF’s College of Sciences in 2009.

Previously, I have also worked as a freelance video editor for ProductionHUB.com, as well as a production assistant for various television series including The Voice, Savage U, and ESPN Monday Night Football. While completing my graduate degree, I also served as a public relations intern for the metropolitan transportation association MetroPlan Orlando before taking on my next role as a Starbucks Supervisor for the luxury hospitality group Loews Hotels. Ultimately, this wide array of professional experience related to both communications and customer service provided the perfect path towards my current role as a Technical Support Writer for Summit Broadband.
